Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lomvi handles information when you use the Lomvi iOS app to capture fabric swatches, run outfit color experiments, store wear reviews, and manage Coin purchases.
1. Data we handle and why
- Photos and visual records: when you capture or import a garment swatch, flat-lay outfit option, in-store candidate, or profile avatar, Lomvi reads only the image you select. Images are used to extract confirmed colors, display wardrobe records, compare outfit options, and show your chosen profile image.
- Wardrobe and experiment records: primary and secondary colors, materials, lighting notes, outfit options, harmony goals, scenes, analysis scores and rationales, wear marks, satisfaction and comfort ratings, weather or temperature tags you enter, favorites, missions, wishlist items, and related preferences are stored so the features you use can work across sessions.
- Profile information: a display nickname and avatar choice you set in Me.
- Cloud archive: after you save a record, selected photos are compressed and uploaded over HTTPS to Lomvi’s cloud object storage. The structured archive stores permanent image URLs together with nickname, avatar choice, swatches, outfit experiments, analysis results, wear reviews, preferences, missions, wishlist, challenge progress, coin balance, and coin activity. Raw image bytes are not placed inside the structured archive JSON.
- Account and device session: Lomvi creates a pseudonymous device identifier and uses it to open an archive session, upload changes, restore your latest archive after reinstalling, and prevent one device from overwriting a newer record. The session token and device identifier are protected in the iOS Keychain. This identifier is not an advertising identifier or hardware fingerprint.
- Purchases: when you buy Coins, Lomvi sends the App Store product identifier, transaction identifier, and receipt payload to the verification service. Coins are credited only after verification succeeds. Payment credentials remain with Apple and are not received by Lomvi.
- Service and network information: app version, request timing, and standard delivery metadata may be processed by hosting and content-delivery providers to operate and secure the service.
2. Permissions and your choices
- Camera: requested when you choose to photograph a swatch, flat-lay look, or similar in-app capture.
- Photo library: the system picker lets you choose images for swatches, try-on options, or avatars without granting unrestricted library access beyond what you select.
You may decline optional permissions and continue with features that do not need them, including manual color entry where offered. You can review or revoke permissions in iOS Settings. Lomvi does not request contacts, precise location, microphone, health, advertising identifier, or tracking permission in the current app.
3. Sharing, providers, and tracking
Lomvi does not sell personal data, show targeted advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Apple processes App Store payments under its own terms. Hosting, object storage, delivery, and verification providers may process information only as needed to operate and secure the service. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or to address fraud, safety, or security incidents.
4. Retention and deletion
Information is retained only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Cloud archive data remains available for restore until you choose Me → Delete Account. Lomvi first requests deletion of the cloud archive. Only after the server confirms deletion does the app clear the local profile, photos, wardrobe records, reviews, ledger, and session token. If a network error prevents confirmation, Lomvi keeps the local state available and asks you to retry rather than claiming deletion succeeded.
Certain transaction or security records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or reconciliation purposes.
5. Security and international processing
Lomvi uses HTTPS for service requests and applies reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Online requests may be processed in locations used by the service and its providers, which may differ from your country.
6. Your rights and contacting the developer
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, and complain to a privacy authority. For privacy requests, purchase issues, or account questions, use the developer contact information available through App Support on Lomvi’s App Store product page. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
7. Children and changes
Lomvi is not designed for children under 13 and is not a Kids Category app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required in the user’s region. Updates to this policy will be reflected in the effective date above. Material changes to data uses or sharing will receive appropriate notice and, where required, consent.
