How can we help?

Updated October 23, 2026 · Applies to Lomvi 1.0 for iPhone

Quick answers about fabric swatches, try-on experiments, harmony scores, voice notes, Coins, cloud archive, and account deletion.

Getting started

What is Lomvi?

Lomvi is a color-experiment tool for outfit planning. You capture or import an anchor garment, confirm its primary and secondary colors, material, and lighting, then build a try-on experiment with at least two flat-lay options.

Lomvi ranks the options with an explainable harmony score, suggests what to adjust, and keeps your worn look and review on a searchable board so you can reuse what worked.

How do I create my first experiment?
  1. Open Today and capture or import an anchor garment.
  2. Crop to the fabric, confirm the primary and secondary colors, material, and lighting.
  3. Start a try-on experiment and add at least two flat-lay options.
  4. Choose a color goal (monochrome, analogous, or contrast) and a scene.
  5. Start the analysis, compare the ranked results, then mark the look you will wear.
Why does Lomvi require at least two options?

The analysis is a comparison. With only one option there is nothing to rank or compare side by side, so the app blocks analysis and explains what is missing. Add a second flat-lay option and start again.

Can I use Lomvi without camera access?

Yes. Camera access is optional. You can import an existing photo with the system photo picker, and you can adjust or enter the primary and secondary colors manually. If you previously denied camera access, you can change it in iOS Settings.

Lomvi does not insert sample garments, looks, or reviews when a permission is unavailable.

Is Lomvi free to use?

Your first outfit analysis is free. Each later analysis submission costs 5 Coins, shown in the app before you confirm. Creating and editing swatches, browsing history, comparing looks, writing reviews, and using the board stay free.

Lomvi has no subscription. Coin packs are optional consumable purchases, and you can also earn Coins by completing in-app missions, wardrobe-gap loops, and the seven-day hue challenge.

Does Lomvi work offline?

Local swatches, experiments, editing, and reviews keep working without a connection. Cloud archive upload and restore, the server-provided home catalog, and Coin purchase verification need a network.

If a cloud upload is pending, keep the local record and retry when you are back online. Deleting a local record while its photo is still uploading can lose that photo.

Can I add a voice note to a wear review?

Yes. First mark one try-on option as worn, then open Log Tonight’s Review (or Edit Review if a review already exists). The Voice note (optional) section is at the top of the review sheet: choose Record Voice Note.

The microphone permission is requested only at that moment, and each note is limited to 60 seconds. You can play or delete the note before saving.

Saved voice notes stay with the review, are included in your cloud archive after upload, and can be removed later in the review editor. If you deny microphone access, the review still works with text only.

Do I need an account, email, or password?

No. Lomvi starts with a random nickname and avatar. A pseudonymous device identity is used for cloud archive, session, upload, and restore. You can edit your nickname and avatar in Me.

Analysis and scores

What does the harmony score mean?

The score is a 0–100 reference calculated from the confirmed colors and their proportions: hue distance, saturation and value balance, and how closely the look follows the goal you chose. Results are sorted by score and include a short rationale and a concrete suggestion.

Lomvi does not identify brands, verify material authenticity, or provide professional color analysis. Lighting, camera processing, and the area you crop can all affect the result.

Does Lomvi use AI, identify brands, or check material authenticity?

No. Lomvi does not claim cloud AI fashion diagnosis, brand recognition, or material authentication. Harmony scores are calculated from the colors and proportions you confirm, using hue distance, saturation/value balance, and the goal you picked.

Treat the score as a comparison and planning reference. It is not professional color analysis, a fit guarantee, or a promise that a purchase will work out.

Why do colors look different from the real garment?

Phone cameras and indoor lighting shift color. For a more reliable swatch, use daylight near a window, avoid strong shadows and reflections, crop tightly to the fabric, and confirm the lighting choice in the swatch editor. Lomvi also shows English color names and HEX values so results are not color-only.

What happens when I re-analyze a look?

Each analysis adds a snapshot with the time, goal, and score summary. You can adjust a name, color, or photo and analyze again, then compare the new result with earlier attempts.

How do I compare looks and record what I wore?

Open an experiment and choose Side-by-Side to review photos, color ratios, and scores. Only one option can be marked as worn. After wearing it, open Wear Review to record the real scene, satisfaction, comfort, weather or temperature tags, and notes.

Where do my reviews and favorite recipes go?

Reviews and experiments appear on the Board, where you can search by keyword and filter by color goal, scene, season, or favorites. Favorite recipes can be reused as a starting point for a new experiment.

Coins and purchases

How much does an analysis cost?

Your first analysis is free. Each later analysis submission costs 5 Coins at the current price, shown in the app before you confirm. Browse, editing, reviews, and history remain free.

If your balance is too low, Lomvi does not invent a result or silently charge you. It keeps your saved data and points you to the Coin Shop.

What are Coin packs?

Coin packs are optional consumable in-app purchases through Apple. They are not subscriptions. The App Store shows the localized product, amount, price, and confirmation screen. Coins have no cash value, are not transferable, and do not expire under Lomvi’s terms.

A purchase succeeded, but my Coins are missing.

Wait for the App Store confirmation to finish and keep a stable connection. Open Me → Coin Ledger to check whether the verified credit is already listed. Then try Me → Coin Shop → Restore Purchases.

Consumable Coins already spent cannot be restored by Apple. If a completed transaction is still missing, email support with the Apple transaction identifier; do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

Why does a purchase say “Awaiting approval”, “Cancelled”, or “Failed”?

“Awaiting approval” usually means Ask to Buy or a deferred payment. “Cancelled” means no charge was completed. A failed or unverified transaction grants no Coins and can usually be retried. A problem with one product does not affect the rest of your balance or library.

Are Coins refundable?

All billing is handled by Apple. Refund requests are reviewed by Apple under its own policies. Use Apple’s Report a Problem page for a billing or refund request; Lomvi cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Data, archive, and account

Is my data backed up to the cloud?

After you save a record, selected photos are compressed and uploaded over HTTPS to Lomvi’s cloud object storage, and saved voice notes are uploaded as audio files. The structured archive stores image and voice-note URLs together with your nickname, avatar, swatches, experiments, reviews, preferences, missions, wishlist, challenge progress, Coin balance, and Coin activity.

The archive can restore your latest records after reinstalling the app. Raw image and audio bytes are not placed inside the structured archive JSON.

What should I do when cloud sync is pending?

Keep the local record, reconnect to the internet, and retry the upload. Do not delete a local record while its photo is still waiting to upload.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open Me → Delete Account and All Data and confirm. Lomvi requests deletion of the cloud archive first. Only after the server confirms deletion does the app clear the local profile, photos, voice notes, wardrobe records, reviews, ledger, and session token.

If confirmation fails, Lomvi keeps your local state and asks you to retry rather than claiming deletion succeeded. Some transaction or security records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or reconciliation purposes.

Does deleting the app delete my cloud archive?

No. Removing the app clears ordinary local app files, but the cloud archive remains available for restore. Use Me → Delete Account and All Data to request cloud deletion.

How do missions, wishlist gaps, and the seven-day challenge reward me?

These optional loops reward Coins only after the whole loop is finished:

  • Scene mission: finish the try-on analysis, mark the worn look, and save the review — currently +8 Coins.
  • Wishlist gap: acquire the item, verify it with a swatch, and close the wear/review loop — currently +10 Coins.
  • Seven-day hue challenge: complete three themed wear-and-review days and settle the challenge — currently +15 Coins.

The app shows the current reward before you claim it. Rewards are credited to the Coin ledger and never replace analysis results.

What does Sign Out do?

Sign Out hides your working session and returns to onboarding. It does not delete your swatches, experiments, reviews, or cloud archive.

To remove data, use Me → Delete Account and All Data instead.

Which permissions does Lomvi request?

Camera is requested only for in-app capture, the photo library uses the system picker for selected images, and microphone is requested only when you record an optional voice note in a wear review. All three are optional.

Lomvi does not request contacts, precise location, health data, the advertising identifier, or App Tracking Transparency permission.

Does Lomvi sell my data or track me across other apps?

No. Lomvi does not sell personal data, show targeted advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Hosting, object storage, delivery, and purchase-verification providers process information only as needed to operate and secure the service.
